How we got here

    Founded by Gabe Romero

    Cordova launched with a simple philosophy: treat candidates like professionals, treat clients like partners, and invest relentlessly in technology that makes both relationships better.

  2. 2017

    First hire, first momentum

    The team grew with its first employee. The mission to create growth solutions that matter was already taking shape — not just as a slogan, but as the operating philosophy behind every placement and every client relationship.

  3. 2020

    Launch of CNS — nearshore development

    Cordova expanded into contract nearshore software development, creating a diversified model that serves the full spectrum of client technology needs. Recruiting and development, under one roof.

  4. 2025

    Franchise program launches

    Cordova officially launched its franchise program. Today, franchisees operate across the United States — supported by a headquarters team and the systems, processes, and technology built to help every owner build a profitable, sustainable business.

Ryan has been in software product development for 18 years, 5 of those with Cordova. He has a strong background in software engineering, digital marketing/eCommerce, and cloud-based architectures.
