Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 14, 2026

Cordova ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit cordova.com or interact with our services.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you submit a contact form on our website, we collect:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Your company name (if provided)
  • The message you send us

This information is transmitted to the relevant Cordova franchise location via email and is not stored in a database by our website.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we may collect:

  • Usage data — pages visited, time on site, referring URLs, and browser type, collected via Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager.
  • Location preference — if you select or allow detection of your nearest Cordova location, that preference is stored in your browser's local storage and a cookie. It is not transmitted to our servers.
  • IP address — used transiently to suggest your nearest location and not stored by us.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and connect you with the appropriate Cordova franchise
  • Understand how visitors use our website and improve our content
  • Ensure the security and proper operation of our website

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Location preference — a first-party cookie stores your selected or detected location so it persists between visits.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics places cookies to help us understand site usage. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.

Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Note that disabling cookies may affect some functionality, such as your saved location preference.

Third-Party Services

Our website uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

  • Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — website analytics
  • Sanity.io — content management (website content is stored on Sanity's platform)
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — website hosting and contact form email delivery
  • Crelate — job listings (publicly posted job data is retrieved from Crelate's platform)

Franchise Locations

Cordova operates through independently owned and operated franchise locations. When you submit a contact form, your information is sent to the franchisee you are contacting. Each franchise location is responsible for handling that information in accordance with applicable law. Cordova, Inc. is not responsible for the data practices of individual franchise owners.

Data Retention

Because contact form submissions are delivered by email and not stored on our servers, we do not maintain a database of contact form submissions. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings (26 months by default).

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights or ask questions about your data, contact us at privacy@cordova.com.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
